Service Description
Come and join me for a wonderful day in our wonderfully located Keswick Studio, overlooking the town and Bassenthwaite valley, with free off-street carparking and full access to all tools and a huge selection of glass. During this session, I will guide you through the basic principles of designing and working with glass, to create a beautiful suncatcher window hanging or free-standing panel from a range of designs available on the day, suitable for complete beginners or those who have worked with glass before and would like to progress their skills. You can choose from a number of designs I have prepared, or if you contact me in advance to discuss, we can use a design or theme of your own choice. Designs provided include gorgeous landscapes to capture the essence of our surrounding lakes and mountains, sunrises, flowers, animals or even a hot air balloon! All tools, materials and safety equipment will be provided. However, due to the nature of the craft, please can you ensure you are wearing closed shoes (no sandals, crocs or sling-backs) and that long hair is tied back. If you wear reading glasses, it is also advisable to bring these for the close detail work!! As the soldering process does involve lead based products, it is not advisable for pregnant women to attend and children between the ages of 16 & 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Light refreshments will be provided throughout the day, but you will need to provide your own lunch. There is a petrol station and Spar shop close by, or Keswick also has to convenience stores for you to use.

Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel, please can you let us know at least 28 days in advance for a full refund, or 3 weeks for a 50% refund. After this time, no refund will be given, although you will be able to reschedule to another day if you inform us at least 2 weeks before your session is due to take place. If for any reason, we as organisers need to cancel a session, we will endeavour to give as much notice as possible, and you will be offered the option to reschedule or offered a full refund. Please note that for a full day session, we do require a minimum of 2 people to be booked in at our Keswick Studio, or 4 at external venues. If we do not have enough participants 7 days before your session, we will contact you to discuss options. For a half-day session, there is no minimum number required.
